Bowlers shine in RCL AMAQ T20 cricket tournament

Game Pro CC, Khalili Stars CC, Evergreen Sixers CC, Patriots CC, Pak Gladiator CC, Run Riderz CC, Gujranwala CC, Royal Fighters CC, Konkan Green CC, Success XI CC and Al Momin CC register wins in the third week of RCL AMAQ T-20 cricket tournament played here at RCL Complex. The tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket League and sponsored by AMAQ Contracting Company
Excellent bowling by Shoaib, Eissa, Ateeq, Usman, Iqbal, Ali, Salman and Johnty and centuries by Shoaib and Fayaz were the features of the week. Half Centuries by Farooq, Abbas, Asghar, Saqib, Rana, Mujahid, Ismail and Bilal and all round performances by Farooq, Asghar, Shoaib, Sameer, Asad and Adil too were the other highlights.
In the Super Division:
Khalili Stars CC, who tallied 221 in 20 overs, won against Shuraim CC by 29 runs. Rana Ahriff scored 81 and was supported by Shakil 44 and Usman 36 runs. Shuraim's Johnty 3/31, Amin 1/36 and Bashir 1/48 starred. For Shuraim Amin 73, Sajid 45 and Shahzad 12 scored respectively but were all out for 192. Iftikhar 2/44, Shahzad 1/8 and Usman 1/24 stood out. Man of the Match: Usman.
Game Pro CC beat Shaheen XI CC by 4 wickets. Shaheen scored 160 with Farooq 54, Mubashir 32 and Shakeel 24 runs dazzling. Fifteen years old, Eissa, youngest player of RCL, finished with 4/29 and Madhu 2/25 supported him. In reply Game Pro CC Inaam 48, Moiz 36 and Alishah 31 hit up the needed runs. Shakeel 2/11, Naveed 2/34 and Farooq 1/19 took the wickets. Man of the Match: Eissa Hateem.
Evergreen Sixers CC defeated Pakhtoon Khawan CC by 10 runs. Evergreen Sixers CC blasted 161 in 17 overs. Haroon 30, Imran 30 and Tasbih 29 led the way while Yousaf 3/19, Anwar 2/39 and Arshad 2/39 stood out. Asif 39, Naveed 19 and Zahid 17 took Pakhtoon Khawan CC to 151. Khawar 2/31, Abdullah 2/28 and Imran 1/31 bowled well. Man of the Match: Imran.
In The Premier Blue:
Patriots CC registered 48 runs victory over Unitec Hyderabad Boys CC. Patriots CC hit 189 with Abbas 81, Jawwad 32 and Zeeshan 31 starring. Unitec's Sohail 1/22, Shahnawaz 1/30 and Ismail 1/30 stood out. Unitec Hyderabad Boys CC were boosted by Salah 33, Mukaram 22 and Ismail 16 as Patriots CC Ateeq 4/14, Asim 3/35 and Fayyaz 1/15 restricted Unitec to 141. Man of the Match: Abbas.
Pak Gladiators CC beat Diamond II CC by 3 wickets. Diamond II CC scored 174 runs with Azhar Khan 40, Waseem 40 and Azhar Maqsood 29 top-scoring. Basheer 2/35, Afridi 1/16 and Waqas 1/16 took the wickets. Pak Gladiators CC's Ismail 60, Zeeshan 41 and Salman 17 then blazed the way. Mateen 3/16, Azharuddin 2/33 and Taj 1/24 stood out as Pak Gladiators passed the tally in the 19.2 overs. Man of the Match: Ismail.
Run Riderz CC routed Cricketers CC by 57 Runs. Wajahath 44, Asim 40 and Sameer 35 runs helped Run Riderz scored 200 runs in 18 overs. Akram 2/35, Asad 1/43 and Muqtar 1/49 starred. Cricketers CC were restricted to 143. Mumtaz 43, Abid 38 and Akram 15 were outstanding. Vasif 2/9, Jain 2/15 and Samran 1/14 sparkled. Man of the Match: Wajahath Hussain.
Gujranwala CC recorded a 6 wickets win over Chanar XI CC, who made 161 in 18 overs. Jibran 71, Barakat 18 and Umar 17 scored. Usman 4/27, Atouf 1/17 and Jamshed 1/33 took the wickets. Then Bilal 54, Tahir 36 and Waqar 27 dazzled as Gujranwala won in 15.4 overs. Barakat 2/29 and Obaid 2/36 sparkled. Man of the Match: Bilal Khursheed.
Royal Fighters CC scored a 5 wickets win over Jamiaa CC, who on batting first made 187. Jabir 43, Moin 39, and Ejaz 39 scored. Ameen 2/30, Ijaz 1/31 and Abdul Malik 1/38 starred. Royal Fighters' Qaiser 71, Tanvir 69 and Tausif 29 took their side to win in 19.2 overs. Haseeb 1/23, Naaz 1/28 and Jamal 1/34 stood out. Man of the Match: Qaiser Wagh.
Konkan Green CC beat Punjab Lions CC by 47 runs. Konkan Green CC made 206 runs in 18 overs with Faik 65, Furqan 43 and Adil 23 among the runs. Fayaz 2/47, Altaf 1/26 and Hafiz 1/29 bowled well. Punjab Lions' Fayaz magnificently hit 106 runs, but with the exception of Sarfaraz 22 and Ahmed 7 respectively no one scored as the Lions were held for 159. Ayub 2/6, Chandu 2/16 and Tahseen 2/22 shared the spoils. Man of the Match: Faik Ali.
In The Premier Green:
Success XI CC defeated Riyadh Pacers CC by 6 runs. Success XI CC made 214 runs with Shoaib hitting 101 and Masood 27 and Zubair 22 respectively. Asghar 1/19, Rizwan 1/28 and Rana 1/32 took a wicket apiece. For Riyadh Pacers CC Zahid 76, Aadil 42 and Asghar 31 gave chase but were held to 209. Shoaib 1/23 and Imran 1/32 starred. Man of the Match: Shoaib.
Al Momin CC beat Eleven Stars CC by 17 runs. Al Momin CC made 176 runs with Mujahid 82, Asad 35 and Nasarullah 23 outstanding. Adnan 1/27, Shamsul 1/33 and Amjad 1/45 took one wicket each. In reply Eleven Stars CC were held to 159. Adnan Khan 56, Omar 24 and Adnan 22 sparkled as Salman 4/22, Hassan 2/18 and Asad Khan 2/30 took the bowling honors. Man of the Match: Mujahid Mehmood.
