Snapchat built an all new search bar, located at the top of the screen, and accessible across the app. The search bar also serves as a shortcut to your profile by taping your Bitmoji in the top left corner. Submit to "Our Story" from everywhere Snapchatters can submit to "Our Story" from anywhere, anytime instead of pre-determined events where breaking news takes place. Users can submit snaps to reach the community at a greater degree with the always-on, global Geofence. The popular app may be shifting to a more public discover page like other social media platforms. The new design aims to make it easier and faster to find friends, discover publishers, and "Our Stories".
