Pak Shaheen, HIS join MCH Premier, Ace in CIT SPL playoffs

Pak Shaheen and Hala International School won their last league matches to take third and fourth spots and join MCH Premier and Ace Travel in the CIT SPL T20 playoffs here recently.
MCH Premier and Ace Travel will play the 1st qualifier with the winner advancing to the final on Feb. 3. Pak Shaheen will take on Hala School in the eliminator whose winner will play the 2nd qualifier against the loser of the 1st qualifier.
SPL is sponsored by Canadian International Trading and co-sponsored by Initial Services, Ace Travel & Tours, Hyderabad Sharks, Maui Jim, Mizo Juices, Pepsi, Khind Electronics and Bison.
Pak Shaheen scored a massive 209-run win over Malik XI with centuries from Faisal Khan (132 off 57 balls) and Shaan Malik (106 off 42 balls). The pair put on a record partnership of 276 runs to enable their team to score 322-3 and bundled out Malik XI for 113 runs thanks once again to Faisal, who took 5 for 16.
Hala School was made to struggle by MB Stars before winning by 4 wickets with 4 balls to spare. It chased down 230 with Shahjahan Rajpoot scoring 87 off 45 balls.
Hyderabad Sharks won both matches – Morning tie against Malik XI by 8 wickets and the Afternoon encounter against Pepsi Deccan Knights by 7 wickets. It could not qualify due to low net run rate.
Moazzam Shaukat of Ace Travel smashed a brilliant 202 off 74 balls to enable his team score a massive 163-run win against KAIA. MCH Green beat Saudi German Hospital with Zameer notching up 78 runs.
Naseem Al-Zahran ended its SPL with an easy six-wicket win over Peeran XI thanks to Adnan's unbeaten 50.
Pak Shaheen beat Malik XI by 209 runs. Pak Shaheen 322 for 3 in 20 overs (Faisal 132, Shaan 106). Malik XI 113 all out (Nasir 36; Faisal 5-16, Atta Ur Rehman 3-21). Man of the Match - Faisal.
Hala International School thumped MB Stars by 4 wickets. MB Stars scored 229-7 (Mohsin 84, Ameeq Mansha 46, Moazzam 45, Hasnain 31; Rafaqat 2-31, Qaiser 2-35 and Osman 2-45). HIS 232 for 6 in 19.2 overs (Shahjahan Rajpoot 87, Shahzad 41 not out, Adnan 30 not out; Zia 2-43). Man of the Match - Shahjahan.
Hyderabad Sharks humbled Malik XI by 8 wickets. Malik 164 for 9 (Amir 36 not out, Asim 32; Mubashir 2-38, Yasir 2-25). Hyderabad Sharks 167 for 2 in 9 overs (Saddam 85 not out, Amir 57 not out). Man of the Match – Saddam.
Hyderabad Sharks downed Pepsi Deccan Knights (PDK) by 7 wickets. PDK 211 for 7 (Syed Afroz 96, Athar 41, Wajid 25; Mubashir 3-48). Hyderabad Sharks 215 for 3 in 17 overs (Saddam 86 not out, Mohamed Shahzad 71). Man of the Match – Saddam.
Ace Travel punished KAIA by 163 runs. Ace Travel 308-2 (Moazzam Shaukat 202, Abdul Wahid 59 not out). KAIA 145 (Majid 40, Javed 48; Moazzam Shaukat 4-34). Man of the Match – Moazzam.
MCH Green downed Saudi German Hospital by 5 wickets. Saudi German Hospital 170 (Waqas 49, Taqi 45; Qaiser 4-15, Rahil Subhani 2-21). MCH Green 172 for 5 in 13.2 overs (Zameer 68, Rana Shahzad 41, Qaiser 23; Taqi 2-20). Man of the Match - Zameer.
Naseem Al-Zahra beat Peeran XI by 6 wickets. Peeran XI 177 for 4 (Munawar 46, Naseer 49, Shakeel 21; Sajid 2-12). Naseem Al-Zahra 183 for 4 in 10.2 overs (Adnan Butt 50 not out, Amir Wahla 43, Amir Shahzad 38, Arshad 49 not out. Man of the Match - Adnan Butt.
Moazzam Shaukat of Ace Travel was named Player of the Week for his 202 with the bat and 4-34 with the ball.
