TABUK — The Saudi National Campaign to support Syrian refugees has so far collected more than SR382.8 million, according to Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeea, supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works. "The campaign, ordered by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, is still continuing in all regions and people are generously donating money through the campaign's accounts in a number of banks," he said. King Salman ordered the campaign to assist the people in Syria and support them in their interminable predicament. Rabeea said the center is distributing relief material inside Syria in collaboration with a number of partners and under the supervision of a specialized team from the center. He said within another national campaign titled "For Allepo", the center has distributed various relief materials consisting of foodstuffs, medicines, clothes and covers in a number of areas in the north of Syria particularly in Bab Al-Hawa region. The Saudi relief assistance which covered Allepo, Idlib and their suburbs during this winter season consisted of 400,000 coats, 176,000 large blankets, 188,000 small blankets for children, 288,000 various pieces of winter clothes, 144,000 winter shirts and 172,000 women shawls.
