It is time to explore new heights and horizons. 2017 is a new chance to explore forgotten dreams and to fulfill them. This week we picked new destinations you can add to your bucket list.
Saint Lucia
This Caribbean island is a treat for your senses. Covered in rainforests, it offers breathtaking views of the Petit Piton and Gros Piton rising out of the pristine Caribbean Sea. A great place for mountain climbing and water sports, you can also visit the Sulphur Springs of Soufriere, the famous volcanic beaches and experience the beautiful Caribbean coral reef.
Cappadocia
One of the most underrated treasures of the world- Cappadocia is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Pictures don't do it justice and its history will leave you dumbfounded. Visit the underground cities and explore the myths and legends for yourself.
Explore Derinkuyu which is the largest ancient multi-level underground city in Cappadocia, which could house 20,000 people.
Recently a housing construction project unearthed what could now be the biggest hiding place ever found beneath a Byzantine-era hilltop castle in Nevşehir, the provincial capital. The site dates back to early Byzantine times.
The city is famous for its hot air balloon rides that scatter over the mythical city for the journey of your dreams. The city is also known for its unique chimney houses, cave homes and churches that its residents carved for generations to come.
Seoul
South Korea is one of the most sought after places considering it is also where the next Winter Olympics will be held there in just over 12 months. In April, Seoul, its capital will also celebrate the opening of its £25 million Skygarden. Don't forget to visit World Heritage–listed Changdeokgung, even though the metropolitan city is filled with modern skyscrapers and high-tech subways it relies strongly on its culture and traditions when it comes to fashion or even food.
Maldives
Fall in love with or in Maldives depending on your relationship status. Known to be the most romantic destination, it is home to some of the most exquisite and unique resorts in the world.
Made up of 1,000 coral islands, enjoy the crystal clear beaches, scuba diving, snorkeling, blue lagoons and extensive reefs. A great destination for couples, families and especially for those who need a time-out. You won't regret it.
Antananarivo
Antananarivo is the capital city of Madagascar, in the island's Central Highlands. Rova of Antananarivo palace overlooks the city and was the center of the Merina kingdom from the 17th century. In fact it served as a base for excursions to Ambohimanga by the Merina royals.
The landscape is surreal and is not influenced by outside cultures. It houses wooden homes, colonial-era buildings and royal tombs. The pink baroque Andafiavaratra Palace sits in the nearby Haute Ville neighborhood.
Explore the vibrant Analakely Market, Tsimbazaza Zoo which is home to many of Madagascar's distinctive animals, including the famous lemur. Parc de Tsarasaotra's wetlands are home to many endangered bird species. This is definitely one for the wildlife lovers and adventurers.
