GNT-NRIs felicitate Telangana MLA Balala
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 27 - 12 - 2016

JEDDAH – The Global Network of Telangana NRIs (GNT-NRIs) felicitated a member of their state legislature who was on a visit to the Kingdom recently.
Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, a leader of All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM), was elected to the Telangana Legislative Assembly from the Malakpet Constituency of Hyderabad District. He has been the MLA for Malakpet Constituency from 2009. He got reelected for a second term in 2014.
During the reception at a local restaurant in Jeddah, G-21 business group, which has been formed as the first business group under the banner of GNT-NRIs, was briefly introduced to the guest.
In his welcome speech general secretary of GNT-NRIs group Syed Khaja Viqaruddin said, "Our motto is service to humanity by joining hands with the members of the community. In view of the current financial situation in the Kingdom, we started this global group under the leadership of our chief patron Dr. Syed Ali Mahmoud and president Aijaz Ahmed Khan. We decided to form our first business group where initially 21 members will invest a small amount of money to start our first profit-based venture that will financially benefit them. The idea was very much liked by the community and presently many others are willing to join in our second venture by registering their names. The business idea will generate some extra income for the participants. We have at least five more groups ready for upcoming ventures."
GNT-NRIs Chief Patron Dr. Syed Ali Mahmoud in his speech described Ahmed Balala as a "dynamic personality".
"When we formed the Global Network of Telangana NRIs, people thought we are working for the Telangana government, which is wrong. Rather our aim is to help fight unemployment, especially by finding jobs for the youth, and connect our community with the government of India and the consulate general of India herein Jeddah. We chose to start business ventures because our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) had encouraged his followers to engage in business activities."
He further said, "We also aim to use new technology to convey our problems to the government of Telangana through this network. Soon we will prepare a website to address the different problems facing our community."
GNT-NRIs President Aijaz Ahmed Khan said, "With our first business venture we intend to help our community," he said, adding that a percentage of the income will be spent for the welfare of Muslim Ummah.
While addressing the gathering Mohd Shamim Kausar, senior adviser of the group said, "We have started this group with solid aim and good intention; we will do our best to expand this network and join hands with the unemployed youths in order to help them".
Nadeem Abdul Basith, media manager, said, "We are working more than our capacity to please Almighty Allah. Our belief is that this business network will grow rapidly and we will be able to help the poor and needy people".
The chief guest of the evening, Ahmed Balala, thanked the members of Global Network of Telangana NRIs for felicitating him.
"I am very happy to see that for the first time a great number of people of Hyderabad joined hands to start a business together. Their intention is good and belief is true, so Allah will help them," Balala said.
"If you all work with unity and harmony then if not immediately but the results will definitely be seen in the next generation and one day this G-21 business group can compete with the leading business houses of India like Reliance and others. Whenever the youth of any nation work united with firm intention then success will surely follow them," Balala said.
He promised all his support to G-21 group and said that all community welfare activities here in Jeddah will be telecast on his TV channel in Hyderabad.
He has congratulated NRIs from Hyderabad and others living in Jeddah who spent their time and money for the welfare of the community with the intention of gaining success in the Hereafter.
G-21 members Mohammed Irfan Qureshi, Mohd Ishaq, Mohd Ayoub, Syed Azeez, Syed Salman, Mir Arif Ali, Mirza Qudrat Nawaz Baig, Nadeem Abdul Basit, Mohd Aleem, K. Muzafaruddin, Abdul Rahman M. Baig and Mohd Ameenuddin Ansari also addressed the gathering.
