The Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution (BIP) is investigating two female employees of a hospital in the city for stealing SR70,000. Sources said the two administrative staffers were tasked with collecting premarital test fees. They allegedly wrote out 35 false receipts and used the money for their personal benefit, sources added. The BIP asked the hospital to provide it with documents written by both employees, to compare the handwriting with that on the false receipts. Both employees have denied the charges. Ashraf Al-Siraj, lawyer and legal consultant, said the BIP does not differentiate between men and women. Premarital test centers do not charge Saudi citizens. Only non-Saudi men, who want to get married to Saudi women, have to pay the fees. __
