Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos again came to his side's rescue as they snatched a dramatic 3-2 victory over Deportivo La Coruna Saturday to keep Zinedine Zidane's side six points clear at the top of La Liga and set a club record 35 games unbeaten. Ramos, the scorer of Real's 90th-minute equalizer last week against Barcelona, headed in Toni Kroos' corner in the 93rd minute to complete a stunning turnaround after former Real forward Joselu threatened to unravel the unbeaten run. Joselu struck twice in the space of two minutes to cancel out Alvaro Morata's stunning second-half strike in the 63rd minute and gave Deportivo a shock 2-1 lead in the 65th by knocking in a low cross from Florin Andone. Real youngster Mariano Diaz scored his first league goal to level in the 88th and preserve the unbeaten run but yet again Ramos had the final say. "When you fight until the end things go your way. They penalized our errors but in the end when you work hard you get results," said Ramos. "I'm happy that I keep scoring goals and above all we keep completing our objectives." The win keeps Real top of La Liga on 37 points, six clear of nearest challenger Barcelona, which won 3-0 at Osasuna thanks to two second-half strikes from talisman Lionel Messi and an opener from Luis Suarez. Elsewhere, Valencia's troubles continued with a 3-2 defeat at Real Sociedad, while Las Palmas drew 1-1 at home to Leganes. Vardy back with a hat trick Jamie Vardy burst back to his predatory best with his first Leicester City hat trick as the champion recaptured its title-winning mojo to earn a shock 4-2 win over Manchester City at the King Power Stadium Saturday. Vardy, hero of last season's fairytale triumph, finally ended his 16-match goalscoring drought for the club by scoring twice in the first 20 minutes as the Foxes, making a nonsense of their miserable recent form, raced into a three-goal lead. Andy King scored the other goal for Leicester. Aleksandar Kolarov (82 minutes) and Nolito (90) scored consolation goals in a late rally for City, which remains fourth, four points adrift of leader Chelsea. Lazio beats Sampdoria Lazio moved up to fourth place in Serie A by beating Sampdoria 2-1 Saturday. Lazio pulled within one point of second-place Roma and third-place AC Milan. Sampdoria was ninth after its five-match unbeaten run ended. In another match, Crotone beat Pescara 2-1 in a matchup between two clubs attempting to avoid relegation. The victory moved Crotone one point ahead of Pescara, which was second-to-last. Hat trick by Falcao Monaco's awe-inspiring scoring form continued when a Radamel Falcao hat trick helped it demolish Girondins de Bordeaux 4-0 to go top of the Ligue 1 standings Saturday. The away win took its goal tally this season to 53 in 17 league games and lifted it above Nice on goal difference. France defender Djibril Sidibe put Monaco ahead and then Falcao took over. Earlier, Olympique de Marseille moved up to seventh after beating Dijon 2-1.
