[gallery size="medium" td_select_gallery_slide="slide" td_gallery_title_input="King arrives in UAE on first leg of Gulf tour" ids="103383,103360,103359,103358,103361"] Abu Dhabi — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman arrived in Abu Dhabi on Saturday on the first leg of an official tour to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain King Salman was received at the airport by Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; and Cabinet members. From Abu Dhabi, King Salman will go to Doha. He will then travel to Manama, leading the Kingdom's delegation to the 37th summit of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states in the Bahraini capital. After attending the GCC summit, the King will start a three-day official visit to Kuwait. During the four-nation Gulf tour, the King will meet GCC leaders and a number of officials to review relations and ways of enhancing them in all fields. King Salman issued a royal order deputizing Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif to administer State affairs and take care of the interests of the people in his absence, Saudi Press Agency reported. Earlier, King Salman was seen off at King Abdulaziz Airbase Airport in Dhahran by Prince Saud Bin Naif, Emir of the Eastern Province; Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior; Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense and a number of princes, senior officials and commanders of the military sectors. Welcoming the King's visit to the UAE on the occasion of the 45th National Day, UAE Businessman Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor wrote in his column that it is a testament to the close relationship between the Kingdom and the UAE founded on mutual respect, shared values and brotherly feelings.
