Maestro Pizza organized a function in Riyadh on Wednesday to honor the winners of a competition for young and successful Saudi entrepreneurs. Ghassan Al-Sulaiman, governor of General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, distributed prizes worth a total of SR300,000 to the winners. The function was attended by Maestro Pizza General Manager Khaled Al-Omran and Oqal Group Founder Farish Al-Rashid. The competition was organized by Maestroalmojtama, a social responsibility initiative of Maestro Pizza, in collaboration with Oqal Group. This was a venture launched by four young Saudi entrepreneurs for home delivery of spare parts all over the Kingdom after receiving online purchase orders. Talaa, an innovative industrial paint introduced in the market by Muhammad Buali, won the second prize worth SR80,000 while the third prize of SR50,000 was shared by Abdullah Bahabri and Salman Bahabri, who developed a smart device for mixing perfumes. The winners of the fourth to 10th prizes were given SR10,000 each. Speaking on the occasion, Al-Sulaiman said his authority will extend all support to young entrepreneurs and their projects in the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
