[gallery size="medium" td_select_gallery_slide="slide" td_gallery_title_input="MiSK Global Forum to empower youth" ids="98028,98027,98026"] By Layan Damanhouri THIRTY activities of panel discussions and workshops will present ideas of innovation and global culture to empower youth at the 2-day MiSK Global Forum in Riyadh on Tuesday under the aegis of the founder and chairman of the MiSK Foundation Deputy Crown Prince Muhammed Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense. In its first round, the forum invited leaders and experts from over 65 countries in various sectors to discuss the youth's role in leadership, innovation, digitization, and entrepreneurship among other topics. Over 75 prominent speakers include Cisco Chairman John Chambers, Emirati Minister Of Youth Shamma Almazrui, CEO of KAEC Fahd Al-Rasheed, Vice President of the Women's Affairs at the General Sports Authority Princess Reema Bint Bandar Bin Sultan Al Saud, and Olympic champion Mo Farah, to name a few. The workshops and sessions will be dedicated to youth who are a significant asset of the global economy, a MiSK representative told Saudi Gazette. The forum serves as a platform to engage with youth in empowering them for a sustainable development of Saudi Arabia and produce a generation of leaders. It further seeks to promote the potential of the country's youth and advance the Saudi National Transformation Program and the Vision 2030. 30 inspiring sessions will cover technology, digitizing culture, knowledge, entrepreneurship and global trends in innovation. Successful Saudi entrepreneurs and influencers will lead workshops and share their projects and future goals. Saudi Minister of Commerce And Investment Dr. Majed Al-Qassabi and other ministers from other countries will discuss policy-making and development related to innovation. The first day will host a session on major global trends where panelists will review and discuss how the Vision 2030, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the other national and regional transformational plans are impacting and transforming business and the leaders of tomorrow. Other sessions will discuss crucial skills, success factors, and ways to achieve an innovative culture. The MiSK foundation promotes learning and leadership for the Saudi Arabia of tomorrow in arts and sciences.
