Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Mufrej Al-Haqbani met Sunday night with Chairman of Saudi-Bangladeshi Parliamentary Friendship Group B.H. Haroon along with his accompanying delegation at the minister's office in Riyadh. Golam Moshi, ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, was present in the meeting as the labor minister and the chairman discussed ways to enhance the bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries and address issues of common interest. The two officials discussed procedures required to recruit Bangladeshi workers until they arrive in Saudi Arabia as well as ways to develop recruitment process. Attended by the ministry's officials including Ziyad Al-Sayegh, deputy minister for international labor affairs, Al-Haqbani and Haroon also discussed a number of topics relating to labor aspects and the situation of Bangladeshi workers in the Kingdom. Al-Haqbani took the chance to commend the contribution of Bangladeshi workers to carrying out several development projects in the Kingdom. The Saudi-Bangladeshi Friendship Group chairman said that the Bangladeshi workers have expressed their satisfaction over being in KSA and been committed to follow the Saudi regulations and abide by the short messages sent by their embassy to their mobiles. The Saudi labor minister wished the Bangladeshi delegation a pleasant stay in the Kingdom. — SG
