32,000 found ineligible for Hafiz RIYADH — The national program to assist unemployed Saudis deposited Sunday SR1.1 billion in the accounts of 563,000 beneficiaries for the Hijri month of Safar. “The sum for each person has been deposited... for the second month in a row,” said Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, Director of Hafiz Program. The program excluded 32,000 beneficiaries because they did not meet the requirements. “The program checks beneficiaries' information and details every month as it is linked with databases of official and non-official authorities,” he said. Around 41,000 new beneficiaries, Dr. Al-Ajmi said, have been added to to the program since last month. The new beneficiaries are part of 145,000 applicants who joined the program after meeting all regulations; however, they did not provide their basic income and their IBANs when they entered their information at www.hafiz.gov.sa, he added. If a beneficiary violates any regulations or conditions, he becomes ineligible for the aid. “He'll be notified that the aid has been stopped and he'll be given three months to voice his grievance to the decision at the Hafiz call center 920011559.” Those whose names have been dropped from the list of Hafiz Program should quickly follow up with the concerned authority to update their information and reapply, he said.
