KING Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) inaugurated two new primary healthcare facilities in cooperation with Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital (Fakeeh.Care). The two new centers are aimed to meet the needs of the city's growing population, along with the residents of neighboring towns, such as Thuwal, Saabar and Rabigh. The Family Medical Center is located at the heart of KAEC, while the new Medical Clinic will bring healthcare services to the Industrial Valley. The existing clinic at the premises of the World Academy will also continue to offer services. KAEC has partnered with Fakeeh.Care in providing healthcare services to the city since the first medical clinic was opened at KAEC in 2013. The Family Medical Center extends the core family medical and emergency services previously provided in the city and adds a range of specialized clinics including dentistry, obstetrics & gynecology, ENT, orthopedics and ophthalmology, all delivered to the advanced standards of Fakeeh.Care. The Center also includes a testing laboratory and a dispensing pharmacy to provide rapid diagnosis and an enhanced level of patient care. "One of the objectives of the Vision 2030 is to expand the involvement of the private sector in the provision of the best possible medical services in every city, town, and village in the Kingdom," said Fahd Al-Rasheed, Group CEO and Managing Director of KAEC. "Today, KAEC is proud to be playing its part in this expansion in partnership with Fakeeh.Care‘s extensive expertise and medical capabilities. KAEC is now able to provide a comprehensive range of primary and preventative healthcare services, as well as ongoing awareness campaigns for the city's residents, visitors, and the dwellers of neighboring towns." "The expansion of our healthcare services at KAEC through the inauguration of the Family Medical Center, the Medical Clinic at the Industrial Valley, and the continuation of the World Academy's medical clinic during school terms, will boost the status of the hospital in the Western Region in general, and will bolster KAEC's outlook for the best possible healthcare," said Dr. Mazen Soliman Fakeeh, Chairman and President of Fakeeh.Care. "Fakeeh.Care has a proud tradition of leading the development of healthcare services in KSA, operating at the very highest standards and promoting a supportive relationship with our patient communities. We look forward to introducing further highly-specialized care facilities to the residents of KAEC." "We are creating healthy and vibrant communities by focusing not only on delivering quality primary care services but also enhancing general health and wellness through our Preventive Healthcare Programs," said Mazen Tammar, Head of Corporate Business Development, Healthcare and Education in KAEC. "The Family Medical Center and the Clinic in the Industrial Valley are designed to offer a premium experience for patients and the community at large, supported by the very highest standards of equipment and customer service." The Family Medical Center and the Medical Clinic help improve the already rising quality of life for the city's residents, especially as the number of corporations at the Industrial Valley continues to grow. The availability of quality, readily accessible healthcare and advanced education are essential to a productive environment, along with a wide variety of social, commercial, and entertainment facilities that bring together members of the community from all walks of life.
