Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Company has won the contract to manage and operate the first medical center for primary care and emergency services in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC).
The contract was signed at KAEC in the presence of Fahd Al-Rasheed, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KAEC, and Dr. Mazin Fakeeh, Chairman of the Board and President of Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Company.
The medical center is located at the World Academy building in KAEC where Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Company will provide all the medical services to residents, students and workers around the clock, seven days a week through an integrated medical and nursing team. In addition to providing primary health care services, family medicine, first aid and emergency services, arrangements have been made to transfer specific cases by ambulance to Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital or the nearest hospital to the city based on the patient's condition and desire, or to specialized centers affiliated with Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital and other medical institutions as needed.
As part of the contract, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Company will also provide KAEC residents with education and health awareness programs including the importance of prevention and early intervention in detecting and treating diseases.
Dr. Mazin Fakeeh said: “This is an important strategic partnership in which we are committed to providing KAEC residents with world-class medical services delivered by fully qualified nursing and medical staff selected according to highest international standards.”
Al-Rasheed lauded the leadership enjoyed by Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Company in the field of medical and health services in the Kingdom, saying: “Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital has more than three decades of experience and accomplishments in bringing to Saudi Arabia the highest global standards in the provision of healthcare and medical services and it is this record of outstanding achievement that led us to choose the company to manage and operate the first medical center in our city.” — SG
