The new craze is artsy in nature. New apps like Prisma took over social media timelines including celebrities who use the app on a regular basis. The idea of filters is similar to what these apps do, they turn pictures of your mundane life into something worthy. In other words, turning anything into art. If you are a fan of filters and one with artistic choices, then it is time to get creative and join the fun.
Here are our picks for apps with a creative spin.
Fused: Double exposure, video and image blender. The app allows you to layer photos and videos which choosing from a range of blending modes. You can further draw and erase for precise editing and use elements provided from artists to help make things interesting. All that remains is the final touch of adjusting lighting and color and you are good to go!
Pikazo: Make anything art in just two taps. "Pikazo is a collaboration between human, machine, and our concept of art. It is an experiment to see what emerges when anyone can create a masterpiece."
Adobe Illustrator Draw: gives you access to drawing tools and features from Adobe Ideas. It lets illustrators draw with vectors, access high-res, royalty-free images and from the app. You can even save it straight to your desktop for future use.
Font Candy: For those of you who are still new to this and are still looking for ways to caption or quote your favorite poems artistically. You can create captions and overlay them onto photos with this typography app.
Artisto: A video editor with unique art filters and movie effects. Now this is really interesting. You can use super special effects that were previously only available to DreamWorks, Pixar, Disney, and other famous studios. They urge you to see the world through the eyes of Van Gogh, Dali, Picasso, and other great artists. You can just shoot a video and apply a filter.
