LG ERV provides healthy air quality in closed places
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 02 - 08 - 2016

LG Electronics Saudi Arabia, the global pioneer manufacturer of innovative electronic products, mobile communications and household appliances, has recently launched the Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) system which improves indoor air quality and ensures healthy atmosphere inside school classrooms, homes and offices.
The ERV filter blocks 80 to 90 percent of the smallest dust particles, gets rid of the impurities in the air and harmful airborne substances and prevents various respiratory diseases.
Many people mistakenly believe that staying indoors will protect them against air pollutants outside. Studies have shown that indoor air causes dryness, a fact which is overlooked by most parents. The quality of classroom air quality can have a big impact on children performance as most children are more susceptible than adults to humid and dry indoor air laden with high concentrations of micro dust and CO2. Exposure to such air can have a tangible impact on school classroom environment and the overall learning process. Moreover, children are more highly likely to suffer as a result of impurities in the air and long-term exposure to dust, a fact which negatively affects their performance and health. Being an energy-efficient product, LG ERV should be the first choice for a perfect school learning environment.
Similarly, it is the perfect solution for homes. In a study published by the UK Guardian newspaper, air pollution caused by road traffic and the burning of fossil fuel is seriously leading to the premature death of more than three million people a year. The gas emitted by household stoves produces high percentage of nitrogen dioxide, higher than the percentage permitted by The US Environment Protection Agency, which shows that indoor air pollution is very dangerous. According to New York Times, pollutants from indoor air can enter the lung 1,000 times faster than pollutants from outside. It may cause sleepiness, fatigue or headache when carbon dioxide levels get higher.
LG ERV is affordable and a good choice for schools and households that are confined by budgets and cannot install air filters. It comes with a remote controller to display vital information including CO2 levels indoor and improve air quality, thanks to its CO2 sensors monitors. LG ERV cools air at night and keeps the room cold. It is smaller and can be installed easily.
