Arabian Entertainment Co. Ltd. (KSA franchisee of world's largest casual dining chain Applebee's and China Gate restaurant) held its 2011 Annual Conference in Jeddah. Theme of the Event was “You Are A Champion” and several employees were awarded for their outstanding contribution in respective categories. The Company is aggressively expanding its portfolio within Saudi Arabia and is evaluating growth plans in other countries as well. Presently there are over 1,200 Applebee's across the world with 13 in Saudi Arabia. There are 2 China Gate restaurants in the country. The event was presided over by Dr. Adnan Soufi (CEO of SEDCO Holding), Mr. Waleed Bin Mahfouz (Chairman, Arabian Entertainment Co. Ltd.) and Mr. Ahmed Marashde (CEO, Arabian Entertainment Co. Ltd.).
In their kick off speech, Dr. Adnan Soufi and Mr. Waleed Bin Mahfouz lauded the spirit of team work and smart strategy that has brought the Company to this level of success.
