Business ties between India and Saudi Arabia have been growing steadily since the landmark visit of King Abdullah, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to India in 2006. This was observed by Abdullah Al-Bazi, Chairman of theTabuk Chamber of Commerce & Industry, while inaugurating the Catalogue Show of Indian companies at Tabuk Chamber's premises on Monday. Al-Bazi was part of the Saudi delegation which accompanied the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to India and witnessed India's potential in science, technology, industry, education, among others. However, he said India's potential requires exposure to the Saudi market through exchange of business delegations and holding exhibitions. The inauguration ceremony of the two-day Catalogue Show, organized by the Tabuk Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Consulate General of India in Jeddah, was attended by Shakeel Ahmad, Consul (C&C), Pawan Tripathi, Vice Consul (Commercial), the Saudi business community in Tabuk and senior officials of the Tabuk Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Around 80 companies' catalogues were on display covering different industrial sectors.
