IN a leading initiative driven by authentic conviction of corporate's role in community service, Red Sea Mall has sponsored "Abnaa AlKhair" activity, which was held for the 4th consecutive year. Esteemed businessmen, women and social media influencers were keen on attending the event, in order to draw a smile on the faces of more than 1000 orphans this year. The initiative is to further demonstrate the entrepreneurship of Red Sea Mall in extending its genuine efforts for the good of the society. Organizing the event required 3 months of preparation to reach satisfactory results that aligns with the vision of the sponsors to reach their intentions of making the orphans happy. A number of committees and groups were held, which included several volunteer groups such as, "Akly ala mazaji," Ahbaab Al Aytaam," "Nabd," " Dar Al Zahra –Aber Association," "Dar Al Fetyaan- Al Ber Association," "Bayt Al Rafeef- Al Faisaliya Association," "Hatayn" Charitable association, "Women First Charitable Association," "Dar Al Tarbiya Orphanages," "Nursery Society Home," "Al Tarbiya Excellence Association," "Al Zohoor Home Association," and "Etaam Association - food preserving awareness association." All of them gathered with Red Sea Mall management team to facilitate and organize facilitating a collaborative activity program led by Hanan AbdulKareem. The program consisted of two parts. The first part included several cultural activities, such as drawing, face coloring, etiquette workshop, and theatre shows. The second part started after iftar by providing children free coupons to access Al Hukeir playground area. Mohammad AlSaadawi extended his appreciation to the organizing groups. Mohammad Alawi CEO of Red Sea Markets Co., Ltd., owner of Red Sea Mall, was ecstatic about the success of the "Abnaa AlKhair" iftar success, saying, "we hope that this project keep growing to include bigger number of orphans, as our goal is to draw a smile on the faces of children, which their unfortunate circumstances have led them to be orphans." The "Abnaa AlKhair" Iftar was held this Ramadan for the 4th consecutive year at the Red Sea Mall. The first year it included 50 children. Then it grew during the last 4 years to include 200 and then 500 children. The successful efforts grew to include more than 1,000 child this year, who have all participated in several cultural and entertaining activities.
