Continuing to extend its social responsibility program to provide free medical coverage for children at orphanages registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Bupa Arabia has signed an agreement with Dar Al-Hadana orphanage which operates two branches in Riyadh and one in Dammam. The agreement was signed by Loay Nazer, chairman of Bupa Arabia, in Dammam and by Tal Nazer, CEO of Bupa Arabia, in Riyadh to cover a total of 255 orphans. “The signing with Dar Al-Hadana in Dammam and Riyadh bring the number of children covered so far to over 900,” said Nazer. “We still have quite a way to go to achieve our target of providing free health insurance for all of the 3,000 children at orphanages registered with the ministry. But we have come a long way in the first year of the program and are advancing steadily in our plans to ensure these children get best healthcare and treatment whenever required.” The Dar Al-Hadana orphans have been assigned to Kingdom Hospital in Riyadh and Al-Mana General Hospital in Dammam, two of Bupa Arabia's strongest partners in its CSR program. “Both hospitals stand for excellent medical quality and high level service and we are very pleased and grateful to have them as preferred partners on our side to help us achieve our vision,” Nazer added. Bupa Arabia's corporate social responsibility initiative started in April 2011 and in the past 12 months a number of free health insurance agreements have been signed directly with orphanages under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs, including Al-Rafeef Orphanage, the Women's Welfare Center, Dar Al-Tarbiya, Dar Al-Hadana and Al
