LG Electronics launches Stylus 2 Plus in Kingdom
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 20 - 06 - 2016

LG Electronics Saudi Arabia, the global pioneer manufacturer of electric and electronic devices, has recently released LG Stylus 2 Plus phone with a pen in the Saudi markets. The device is available in three colors: Titan, gold and brown at Jarir Bookstore, Extra and the open market.
The launch comes in line with the company's keenness to keep up with accelerating developments in the local communications market and cater to the different needs of customers.
While the design remains consistent with the original LG Stylus 2, the smartphone features significantly better performance than its original cousin. At its heart is a faster 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor, a sharper 5.7-inch Full HD IPS display and battery of 3,000mAh (removable), Wi-Fi 802.11 connectivity as well as Bluetooth 4.1 / USB 2.0.
The LTE-supported phone comes with a higher resolution 16MP rear camera, a flash on both sides for clearer photos and videos in low light, more RAM and better performance, in addition to 16 GB ROM and 2GB/3GB RAM and the choice of 32GB ROM.
The Stylus 2 Plus carries over the nano-coated stylus which provides the tactile feedback of a quality fountain pen when writing on the screen. Using the stylus is made even more useful with UX features such as Quick Memo and Off Memo and Pen Keeper, which displays a warning when the stylus strays too far from the phone, or vice versa.
Eddie Jun, President of LG Electronics-Saudi Arabia, commented, "The Saudi market is witnessing intensive demand levels on cell phones by youth who constitute two thirds of the workforce in the country. Young men and women care to own latest smartphones that support modern technologies in the field of communications."
The LG Stylus 2 offers powerful multimedia functionality and a new experience at a competitive price. The design team ensured that the phone possess unique and innovative specifications suitable to all tastes.
Salman Alsabban, Corporate Marketing Manager, LG Electronics-Saudi Arabia, said "we always strive to launch most innovative products that meet the needs of local customers, satisfy their desires and meet their expectations. We will continue raising the bar in mobile phone innovation and enhance customer experience by delivering excellent and amazing specifications."
