US trade delegation seeks joint ventures

A US trade and investment delegation from Cincinnati City, Ohio now visiting Eastern Province, is seeking joint ventures with Saudi companies and offering seven key industries.
Mark Mallory, Mayor of Cincinnati City and head of the delegation, cited in his address during meeting with officials of the Asharqia Chamber of Commerce and Industry the seven key industries, namely, advanced energy, engineering, IT, consulting, medicine and healthcare, education, and manufacturing. The Cincinnati region is the headquarters of 10 Fortune 500 companies.
Abdulrahman Rashid Al-Rashid, President of the Asharqia Chamber, welcomed the 18-man delegation. The visit of the delegation was organized by the US-Saudi Arabian Business Council, which has assisted business deals worth over SR375 million between the two countries in the past five years. __
