In pre-emptive strikes, the Saudi security authorities have nabbed as many as 101 terror suspects from 12 nationalities in the month of May. Local daily Al-Watan said on Tuesday that the suspects, who were involved in terror cases or were wanted for security reasons, consisted of 62 Saudis, 20 Yemenis, five Syrians, four Indians, two Egyptians, two Pakistanis and one each from Canada, Afghanistan, Chad, Ethiopia and the Philippines. According to the security sources, the Canadian who was caught on May 26, represented the first citizen from Canada to be on the list of wanted criminals. He is currently being interrogated. Nine Americans were also arrested on charges of supporting terrorism in addition to four Britons of whom one is serving a four-year-jail term.
