Saudi Airlines Catering (Saudia Catering) inaugurated last Wednesday its latest state of the art unit at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. The latest model and most advanced modern unit complements the company's chain of production units operating in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Cairo. The latest addition aims to serve Saudi Arabian Airlines, along with 50 foreign airlines operating in the Kingdom. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new unit which was attended by more than 120 guests, including Board members of Saudi Airlines Catering, delegates from General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and members of different departments at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport Authority, Wajdy M. Al-Ghabban, CEO of Saudi Airlines Catering, said by the opening of this modern facility, the company reaffirms its commitment to provide excellent services for customers, and noted that the new facility compliments the ongoing developments at the airports around the kingdom, which are aligned with governmental instructions and guidelines of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Naif, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman. He further noted that the new unit represents a turning point for Saudi Airlines Catering services, which include providing catering services to around 50 airlines operating in the Kingdom through main production units in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Cairo, in addition to the new unit in Madinah. Al-Ghabban added: "At Saudi Airlines Catering, we put significant efforts to improve the quality of our products; through applying of highest international standards, using advanced equipment and provide a diverse range of products and services to satisfy all tastes and requirements. Our efforts paid off, where we have achieved many awards from internationally reputable bodies in the area of food quality and safety which spur us for further development to maintain this achievement, and look forward to more success. Al-Ghabban praised the great support and positive collaboration of all departments at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz airport, which supported the completion of the project according to highest specifications and standards. He also added that the new unit can be expanded in the future to serve the expected increase of traffic at the airport. Meanwhile, Mansour Al-Howaimal, Regional Manager, Madinah, assured that the new unit will support the growth in revenue, and support the company in achieving its strategic objectives to provide best and high end services to customers.
