RIYADH — The services of Pakistan Haj Volunteers Group (PHVG) for the guests of Almighty Allah are commendable, said acting Ambassador of Pakistan Muhammad Hassan Wazir at a certificate distribution ceremony organized by PHVG in Riyadh. He maintained that PHVG volunteers work 12 to 18 hours during Haj days in Makkah and Madinah, which is an exemplary effort. He also appreciated the government of Saudi Arabia for its arrangements to provide batter accommodation and other facilities for pilgrims, who traveled to the Holy cities — Makkah and Madinah to perform Haj. He also thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for all his generous efforts. The envoy also appreciated the efforts of PHVG volunteers after the Mina incident by gathering details of the deceased and injured Pakistanis. He maintained that without their support it would have been difficult. He further said that Pakistani Embassy always looks out for motivated volunteers to help the pilgrims, who are away from their family members or group members during Haj days. He assured the group members of his and the embassy staff full support and assistance. Central coordinator PHVG, Salman Arian, addressing the participants said PHVG volunteers belong to different ethnicity, which is proof that PHVG provides its services without bias and discrimination. He said our volunteers are our proud to serve and God will reward them for their noble services. The coordinator of Riydah chapter, Yousaf Ismail briefed all about PHVG preparations for the upcoming Haj. He congratulated 200 volunteers for getting certificates as reward for their noble services and assured his active participation to improve PHVG service. Abrar Hussain Tanoli, a senior PHVG member, briefed the participants about the problems PHVG faced last year and thanked Pakistan Embassy for their support and cooperation. Tanoli, who hosted the event of the certificate distribution ceremony, also thanked the international organization World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), Pakistan Cultural Group (PCG) and the individuals for their support and assistance to PHVG. A total of 200 volunteers were given certificates of appreciation. Large numbers of people belonging to Pakistan and KSA attended the ceremony and appreciated the services of PHVG.
