JEDDAH — The Jeddah Police has nabbed the killer of a six-year-old African boy and would soon stand trial for his horrendous crime. Col. Atti Bin Attiah Al-Qurashi, Makkah Province's police spokesman, said the dead body of the young boy was found in an uninhabited area in Bay Salman in north Jeddah with his head separated from his body. The spokesman identified the killer as a 35-year-old Saudi man who is a drug addict and had previous criminal record. He said investigations revealed that the murderer found the boy begging in Al-Mohamadiyah district, near the southern terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport, and took him in his car to Bay Salman area where he killed him. The spokesman said the criminal tried to conceal his crime by cutting up the body of the dead boy to make him unrecognizable. Qurashi said the police received information from an African mother that her boy was missing. "We immediately constituted a team of highly-qualified undercover police who were able to nab the killer and bring him to justice," he said.
