The Ministry of Health will employ 2,151 fresh male and female graduates in nursing, medical records, optics, epidemics, and midwifery, as medical secretaries and medical equipment technicians. The decision was issued by Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeah, Minister of Health, Tuesday. The graduates represent the second batch of 4,000 students who are being employed to fill in vacant positions at the ministry, as per the Royal Decree issued in June last year. All the graduates must have passed the examinations of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The ministry would complete the appointment procedures in the next few weeks. The newly-employed graduates will have to undergo training programs to prepare them for their jobs. They may not apply for transfers unless they have stayed one year in their jobs. The ministry has asked all graduates to bring the originals and copies of their documents, IDs and professional licenses.
