The Ministry of Labor is taking part in the Career Forum that is being held here from April 16-20, in collaboration with its affiliates including the Human Resources Development Fund and Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and General Organization for Social Insurance. Under the auspices of Governor of Eastern Region Prince Saud Bin Naif, the forum is being held at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center (DIEC), situated in Dammam. The participation's ministry and its affiliating entities aims at showcasing various employment and training programs that target job seekers, leading to employment of Saudi nationals in the labor market, a press release of the Labor Ministry said. Labor officials at booths provide hands-on information on their initiatives to male and female graduates as well as programs pertaining to training, rehabilitation and employment. Besides, job seekers will have access to a range of job opportunities through employment channels (Taqat), which would motivate them to work in the private establishments along with ensuring their job retention. The HRDF has sought to provide qualified and trained Saudi cadres that meet the needs of labor market, achieving full-fledged integration with private sector. — SG
