The YASREF laboratory facility has been recognized as one of the top six in the world in the ASTM Proficiency Testing Program, a statistical quality assurance program that enables laboratories to assess their performance in conducting tests. The testing was done in January 2016 and YASREF came out as one of the best in the world compared to 147 others who also participated in the program. "Credit for the success goes to the hard work and diligence of all the lab staff and management who work as a collaborative team with full commitment to deliver excellence to our customers," said YASREF President & CEO Mohammad S. Alshammari. "Additionally, I would like to thank Saudi Aramco for training and developing many of our staff and these outstanding achievements speak loudly of such efforts." YASREF Laboratory Division will continue to participate in this program and is looking forward to being accredited for ISO-17025 General Requirement for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories in 2016.
