Faisal's ton lights up WPCA Morning

JEDDAH — Faisal Patel cracked a ton to help lift Al-Mazroi Salonpas over Sadafco, Stallions defeated ADI XI, Tata Motors had the last laugh against GBest IDB, Saudi Green edged Rehab Riders, Royal Brothers downed AOT Digital Tech and MFCC prevailed over Nesma Holding in the WPCA Morning Tournament in the 15th week hostilities here.
Al-Mazroi Salonpas beat Sadafco by 58 runs. Al-Mazroi, batting first, racked up 195 for 4. Faisal Patel blasted an unbeaten 101 in 41 balls studded with 10 fours and 5 sixes as he first added 83 with Sohail (51) and then 56 with Farook (13). Iqbal Patel took 2-58.
Sadafco could manage only 137 for 9. Zubair Meneer (26), Abdulrehman (22) and Iqbal Patel (14) were among the runs. Faisal Patel took 3 for 25. Stallions downed ADI XI by 6 wickets. ADI XI posted 123 for 7 through Adeel (26), Nabeel (30) and Omer Mehfooz (36 not out). Asim grabbed 4 wickets for 23 and Waqas 2-29.
Stallions reached 129 for 4 in 81 balls. Abdulrehman hit 42, Waqas 26 and Arsalan 26.
Tata Motors prevailed over GBest IDB by 48 runs. Tata Motors, batting first, piled up 174 for 2. Noor Butt hit 39, while Mudassir Iqbal smashed 75 with 4 sixes and 6 fours as the two added 164 in 82 balls for the unbroken 3rd wicket partnership.
GBest IDB, in reply, was stranded at 126 for 9. Rayees made 21, Junaid 18 and Amajd 11. Mudassir Iqbal took 2-27 and Irfan 2-14.
Al-Saudi Green scored its maiden victory against Rehab Riders by 3 wickets. Rehab Riders was restricted to 91 for 7. Tayyab stroked 37, Amjad 12 and Raees 11. Imran took 2-3.
Al-Saudi Green reached the target of 92 for 7 in 79 balls. Gulzamman hit 27, Mansoor 14 and Jamshed 13. Taiyab took 3-22 and Kamran 2-23.
Royal Brothers defeated AOT Digital Technology by 51 runs. Royal Brothers amassed 191 for 5.
Waqar slammed an unbeaten 67, Muneer 16, Hamid Bakht was run out for 32 and Waqas remained unbeaten on 22. Zakir scalped 2-35.
AOT Digital Tech responded with 140 for 5. Aqeel blasted 61, Zakir 28 and Salman 16. Abdullah took 2-10.
MFCC sank Nesma Holding by 32 runs. MFCC using the track first mustered 148 for 9. Imran notched 22, Waseem 27 and Mahmood 41 not out. Jawwad grabbed 5 wickets for 16 and Zafar 2-23.
Nesma Holding, in reply, was restricted to 116. Jawwad smashed 42 and Ben 15. Rana added 20.
