Al Borg Medical Laboratories in cooperation with the American leading diagnostics services provider Quest Diagnostics have launched "Sehaty Blueprint" program – cited as the new concept and 3rd. generation of periodic medical/laboratory checks – where an individual can get a comprehensive report on his/her current health status in addition to a plan for improving their health in the future as well as taking proactive measures to prevent diseases & health problems.
Health is to enjoy well-being and this concept goes beyond recovery from illness rather sustaining good health, free of diseases.
The program includes examining the functioning of body organs & systems such as heart, pancreas, kidneys, liver in addition to other checks based on sex and age.
On the occasion, Dr. Sameh El Sheikh the CEO of Al Borg Medical Laboratories has said: "We are celebrating today one of our most important health programs "Sehaty Blueprint" which makes an important addition to the advanced medical services delivered by Al Borg Medical Laboratories in Saudi Arabia, Gulf Countries and Ethiopia and represents the 3rd.
generation of periodical medical laboratory checks. We do this in cooperation with the American Quest Diagnostics one of the world's most important medical laboratories.
Dr. El Sheikh added: "Al Borg Medical Laboratories began the process of taking serious and sure steps towards the transfer of knowledge and technology in the field of laboratories, through a range of programs and cooperation with major global laboratories such as Quest. This will increase the understanding of the laboratory science to achieve the improvement and development of the medical laboratories services in the private sector in Saudi Arabia in particularly and out to the Arabian Gulf and African countries.
Dr. Hisham Shams the Medical Director of Al Borg Laboratories has said: The "Sehaty Blueprint" program which we are now celebrating will include in its first stage, the age group starting from 18 years from both the sexes. It represents a scientific revolution in the medical analysis arena, as Al Borg Laboratories shall make all checks and electronically send the results to Quest Laboratories, where they will be assessed through advanced electronic systems and sent back to us in the form of unique report in just 10 minutes. Taking the advantage of the report's information, an individual can understand his current or potential health risks and accordingly set his/her appropriate personal plan to achieve better health in future. The age group below 18 years from the two sexes will be included in the next stage".
Dr. Shams added: "The Sehaty Blueprint" is a breakthrough program for health awareness. This stems from Al Borg Laboratories responsibility towards the society in order to prevent disease and promote health & wellness using the latest technologies and cooperation with global laboratories".
