On Friday, Gensoul Lion of coach Glenn Musngi beat Gensoul Eagle 101-68 in the 40 and above division. Bong Umlas top scored with 36 points and was adjudged the Titan Watch Best Player. Jayjay Hernandez also contributed 25 points for the winner, while Joel Silvestre made 24 for the loser. Knights of coach Rey Maddatu defeated Pabebe 109-93. The loser tried hard to contain the winner's offense but missed important baskets in the crucial minutes of the game. Bernard Carino scored 26 points for the winner and was named the JBL Best Player.
