WPCA Morning semifinals lineup set

Mazroi-XI defeated AAA, Hala Academy White downed Attieh Steel, ATS edged OTEX while GD Design lost to Al-Saudi-XI in the quarterfinals of WPCA Morning tournament.
In the Premier level My Care Hala, IDB and AOT GFC emerged victorious as AMI Juffali, MCC, My Care Green, Zultrack and Mehmood Saeed recorded wins in the Afternoon games.
In the Western Province Cricket Association's (WPCA) Morning quarterfinals ATS scored 148-8 with Sameer scoring 34 and Pervez adding 31 as Maqsood grabbed 3-34, Imtiyaz 2-27 and Ijaz 2-5 in an over and then bundled OTEX out for 85 as Rashid and Usman had identical figures of 3-17. Ijaz made 21.
The second quarterfinal saw Attieh Steel lose after hammering 183-6 as Ashfaque hit 80, Shahid Shoukat made 36 and Kashif 26. Adil with 2-28 and Shani 2-47 were among the wickets. Hala Academy White was home with 184-2 off 98 balls as Abdul Maoeed remained unbeaten on 60, Shahid Ali hit 41, Afroz remained not out on 33 and Furqan added 32.
In another quarter Al-Mazroi could muster only 158 runs, but then restricted AAA to 144-9 to book a place in the last four thanks to the 14-run win. Faisal picked up 3-35 and Farooq 2-36, with Ashraf contributing 43 and Tahir 21.
The last quarterfinal saw Al-Saudi amass 188-5 with Afzal scoring 133 and Nazeer 21. Kamran bagged 3-32 as G.D. Design in response was bowled out for 103. Adil grabbed five wickets for 34 and Nadeem 3-32 with only Sajjad scoring 31 and Ramazan 25.
In the first Premier League encounter AOT GFC batting first scored 236-4 in 18 overs against helpless Elaf Advance as Qaiser scored 116 and added 145 for the second wicket with Shahzad (38). Majed, Ali, Hasnain and Qamar were among the wickets. Elaf in reply could score only 186-7 with Ali making 35, Majed 31 and Siddique 24. Abbas took 2-13, while Faiq, Qaiser, Nadeem and Faisal bagged a wicket each.
The second Premier match saw My Care Hala bat first against Dopco. It scored 192-6 mainly through Waqas Ausaf (103) and Maqsood (21). Dopco could only get to 171-8, thus losing by 21 runs despite a brave innings of 90 by Maqsood. Asim made 27. Umer grabbed four wickets for 32 and Mohsin 2-45 as Kashif and Abdullah accounted for a wicket each.
The third match saw Mazco-XI taking the strike first. It could make only 129 runs against IDB with Samer making 38. Hamza took 3-8, Khalid Butt 3-38, while Ijaz, Zahid and Abubaker took one wicket each.
In the Afternoon encounters AMI Juffali defeated Atlas-XI by 26 runs; MCC beat GGI by 74 runs; My Care Hala Green thumped Fuchs AlHamrani by four wickets; Zultrack beat Arif Gymkhana by 11 runs; and Mehmood Saeed won its encounter against Pak Mecca-XI.
