Saudi academic Bassem Adel Yousef Danesh has developed a program on the skills of teaching dentistry at the level of Canadian universities for students who work in academic spheres aiming to upgrade their teaching skills to the highest levels of efficiency, and to provide them with the best new technologies in the field of education in universities. Danesh is a lecturer at the Faculty of Community Dentistry in Umm Al-Qura University, Makkah. He is currently doing a PhD at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Martin Crissworth, Associate Professor in Teaching Services for Graduate Studies and Dean of Graduate Studies and Post-Doctoral Studies at McGill University, has commended the program and described it as one of the unique models in the world. For his part, Danesh expressed his happiness over this achievement, commending the efforts of the Saudi government in providing all capabilities and services to enable Saudi students to achieve the highest degree of distinction, noting that he hopes to benefit from the program upon his return to Umm Al-Qura University.
