The Jeddah Toastmasters Area 34 conducted its annual contest at Seasons Restaurant with the theme "Enhance and Empower Leaders", with each category keenly contested. First, second and third place winners of each category are – humorous contest — TM Dr. Abdul Jaleel, TM Mohammed Najim, TM Parvez Khan; in the Evaluation contest — TM Ashir Ameerudin, TM Beniffer Consolacion, TM Dr. Abdul Jaleel. In Table Topics contest TM Beniffer Consolation, TM Ashir Ameerudhin, TM Shahid Malayil and International Speech contest — TM Dr. Abdul Jaleel, TM Mukram Hussein, TM Benifer Consolation got first, second third places respectively. The contest began with the banner parade from each participating club and followed by Area officers. Contest Chair Toastmaster Assain Illikkal opened the contest, followed by the message of Area Director Toastmaster Saji Kuriakose and Division H Director Distinguished Toastmaster Dr. Lakshman Sockalingam. Keynote address of Immediate Past District Governor DTM Joey Villanova mesmerized the audience. Inspirational message by Past Division G Governor DTM Regi Maga inspired the audience with his powerful message. He advised the audience the importance of empowerment. Toastmaster Nasser Gumrain anchored the entire event. First & second place winners from Fosam Toastmasters Club, PICPAWR Toastmasters Club, Jeddah Malayalam Toastmasters, Club & Izhar Urdu Talk Masters Club participated in the contest. District 79 Public Relations Manager DTM Johnygene Padillo was present to monitor the Area contest. Presence of current and past division directors of Western region and senior toastmaster of the town were a significance achievement in an Area contest.
