IOE scores record 242-3 in JPL

IOE scored a record 242-3 against MIM Brigade in the fourth week action of Jeddah Premier League's Asaduddin Owaisi Cup 2016 here.
The tournament is being organized by Jeddah Premier League (JPL) under the umbrella of Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) and mainly sponsored by Dream India Group, a real estate development company from Hyderabad, India, Mumtaz Sports Academy, Al-Wafaq Al-Shaheqa Group and Qatar Airways. The co-sponsors include B-Cola, Halwani Brothers, and Khind Electronics.
Morning Session
Prime XI beat Yorkshire by 15 runs. Prime XI, batting first, was all out for 99 in 14.1 overs. In reply, Yorkshire was restricted to 84 in 14.1 overs. Adam was adjudged the Man of the Match for his bowling figures of 3-4.
Jeddah Strikers downed Telangana Warriors by 26 runs. Jeddah Strikers posted 125-8 in its quota of 15 overs. Telangana Warriors, in reply, could score only 99-7. Mateen of Jeddah Strikers was declared the Man of the Match for his innings of 52.
Super Chargers humbled Rising Stars by 9 runs. Super Chargers put on 108-9. In reply, Rising Stars was bundled out for 99 in 11.4 overs. Super Chargers' Aslam was declared the Man of the Match for his 68 runs.
Jeddah Strikers XI thumped Deccan Youth Rangers by 4 wickets. Deccan Youth Rangers, batting first, scored 106. Jeddah Strikers scored 107-6 in 14.1 overs. Imtiyaz (31 runs and 2 wickets) was named the Man of the Match.
IOE routed MIM Brigade by 172 runs. IOE, batting first, posted a record 242-3. MIM Brigade, in reply, was sent packing for 70 in 10.2 overs. Rizwan of IOE was adjudged the Man of the Match for his brilliant innings of 106 off 36 balls.
Barkatiya XI put on 121-9 against Elite CC, which was limited to 89 in 13.5 overs and lost the match by 32 runs. Mohammad Khaleel, the Man of the Match, hit 46 and took 3 wickets.
Challengers Cricket Club put on 133-8 in 15 overs. Jeddah Warriors Club, in reply, scored 135-7 in 13.3 overs and won the match by 3 wickets. Faisal was named the Man of the Match for hitting 47 and bagging 1 wicket.
Afternoon Session
Khind CC posted 112 in 14.3 overs. In reply, Deccan Youth scored 114-4 in 14.2 overs to win the match by 6 wickets. Muzammil (4 wickets) picked up the Man-of-the-Match award.
Azizia XI scored 104-8 in 15 overs. Jeddah Gladiators, in reply, was bowled out for 78 in 11.3 overs. Mohammad Azam of Azizia XI was declared the Man of the Match. He hit 36 and claimed 2 wickets.
Salama Falcon edged Halwani Brothers by 18 runs. Salama Falcons scored 99-8. In reply, Halwani Brothers could score only 82-8 in its quota of overs. Imtiyaz, the Man of the Match, blasted 25 and claimed 2 wickets.
Azizia Deccan Avengers scored 89-7. In response, Nazar Guys could muster only 86 in 10 overs as Azizia won the match by 3 runs. Man-of-the-Match Imran notched 32 off 29 balls.
Rajasthan Royals made 165-5 and then bowled out Ittehad for 68 in 12.2 overs to win the match by 97 runs. Arshad of Rajasthan Royals was declared the Man of the Match for his 74 wuns.
KSA Blue posted 67. Al-Amari, in reply, reached 68-7 in 7.4 overs. Savahir was named the Man of the Match for his 3 wickets.
