Jeddah Warriors, Barkatiya and Coastal Gladiators win in JPL

Jeddah Warriors, Warangal, Reliance, Jeddah Strikers, Azizia Deccan, Barkatiya and Coastal Gladiators scored crucial wins over their respective rivals in Jeddah Premier League's season-9 Asaduddin Owaisi Cup 2016 here.
The tournament is mainly supported by Dream India Group, a real estate development company from Hyderabad, India, Mumtaz Sports Academy, Al-Wafaq Al-Shaheqa Group and Qatar Airways. B-Cola, Halwani Brothers, and Khind Electronics are the co-sponsors of the event, which is organized by Jeddah Premier League (JPL) under the umbrella of Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
Kingdom Sports Academy scored 130-7 in its quota of 15 overs. In reply, Warangal Cricket Club reached 131-6 in 14 overs. Sohail was named the Man of the Match for his 44 off 27 balls.
The following match saw, Gulbarga CC post 125-8 in 15 overs. In reply, the Coastal Gladiators reached the target of 126 for 7 in 13.5 overs. Abdul Kalam was declared the Man of the Match for his 42 off 22 balls.
Gulf West Cricket Club beat Reliance Cricketers by 28 runs. Gulf West Cricket Club, batting first, scored 135-5 In 15 overs. In reply, Reliance was bowled out for 108 in 13 overs. Sarfaraz was declared the Man of the Match for his 46 off 23 balls. He also took a wicket.
Super Chargers, opting to bat first, scored 150-7. In reply, Rising Stars could make only 112-7. Tariq was the Man of the Match for his 56 off 40 Balls.
Jeddah XI put on 92-6 in 15 overs. In reply, Deccan Youth Rangers was home (93) for the loss of 1 wicket in 7.3 overs. Arif was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 54.
ABCC, batting first, scored 55 against IOE Cricketers, which crossed the target (56) for the loss of 3 wickets in 7.4 overs. Rasheed picked up the Man-of-the-Match award for his five-wicket haul (5-12 in 3 overs).
Johnson Dominators was all out for 91. In reply, Barkatiya XI reached 92-6 in 13 overs. Asif was awarded the Man of the Match honors for his 39.
Jeddah Warriors Club thrashed Jeddah Tigers by 130 runs. Jeddah Warriors scored 178-2. In reply, Jeddah Tigers could score only 48-9. Asif picked up the Man-of-the-Match award for his 37 runs and 2 wickets.
Afternoon Session
Hyderabad Royals, opting to bat, scored 168-9 and then bundled Yorkshire out for 55 in 11.3 overs. Irfan was named the Man of the Match for scoring 64 off 24 deliveries.
Barik ATS posted 126-8, but Kings XI Hyderabad reached 128-8 in 14.1 overs. Ghulam was awarded the Man of the Match for his 64 off 39 balls.
In other matches: Independence Cricket Club downed Arabian XI by 26 runs, Azizia Deccan Royals beat Empower CC in Super Over by 5 wickets, Jeddah Jaguars beat Friends Cricket by 20 runs, Kingdom Sports Academy Blue (KSA Blue) thrashed Jeddah Strikers by 30 runs, Barkatiya beat Jeddah Gladiator by 7 wickets, Halwani Brothers won by 2 wickets against Jeddah Warriors, Yorkshire lost to Nazar Guys by 2 wickets, Ittihad Jeddah Cricket Club beat Deccan Youth Club by 4 wickets, Warangal Cricket Club won against Coastal Gladiators by 8 wickets, KCC lost to ICC by 8 runs, Gulf West notched a 63-run win over Azizia Deccan Royals, Reliance Cricket Club beat Empower Contracting Company by 130 runs, Jeddah Jaguars thumped Super Chargers by 5 wickets, Jeddah Strikers scored a 48-run win against Jeddah-XI, ABC Warriors lost to Barik Arabian Trading Services (ATS) by 27 runs, Azizia-XI beat Johnson Control by one wicket and Kingdom Sports Academy (KISA Green) lost to Azizia Deccan by one wicket.
