After achieving 2nd place in the Crown Prince Endurance race recently, the Alwaleed Philanthropies (AP) Equestrian Team, owned by Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, Chairman of the Alwaleed Philanthropies, won the title at the Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Festival for "best horse condition" in Riyadh. Ahmed Suleiman and his horse, Freedom, also achieved 3rd place for AP Equestrian Team. The Horse Festival saw the participation of the most prominent equestrian endurance competitors in the world, led by the Storm Team owned by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, ruler of Dubai, and Al-Wathba Equestrian Team owned by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. The Alwaleed Philanthropies Team, formally known as the Kingdom Equestrian Team,led by Najeeb Al-Barjas has already 67 championships to its credit. The team will also participate in two of the most challenging tournaments such as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud Championship, and the King Abdulaziz Alsaud (Founder) Endurance Cup. — SG
