Kingdom Team, which is sponsored by Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal won the Qatar International Show Jumping Championship Cup in Doha, Monday. The Saudi show jumping jockey Ramzi Al-Dahami achieved first place during the last round of the championship. Khalid Al-Eid, also a Kingdom Team member, also won first place in the opening round and second in the third round. Al-Dahami achieved third place in the final round, qualifying for the final in which he earned the team the championship cup. Najeeb Al-Barjes, Kingdom Team manager and trainer said that he was proud of Al-Dahami's performance stating that the success of the Kingdom equestrian team was due to prince's continuous support. The prince also welcomes promising jockeys to join the Kingdom Team. The members of the Kingdom Team include, Sarah Baban, Alia Al-Hwaete, Noora Al-Yusuf, Abdulrahman Al-Hawas, Mohamed Al-Milhisi and Latifa Al-Sheikh. Ramzi Al-Dahami won first place for the Kingdom Team in the King of Bahrain Championship last month, qualifying for the world championship finals. Al-Dahami achieved second place in the opening round and third place for the smaller award during the International Abu Dhabi Championship that qualified him to the world cup championship held in January. __
