Pak Shaheen wins RCA Saudi Orix championship

RIYADH — Pak Shaheen defeated Lahore Lions by 93 runs to win RCA Saudi Orix 40-over championship here.
Saudi Orix tournament was organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Orix leasing company.
Al-Kharaj League
Batting first, Pak Shaheen posted 366 for the loss of 9 wickets. Abdul Waheed played a brilliant knock of 139. Faisal Khan scored 80, while Ateeq added 37 and Ibrar 28. In reply, Lahore Lions was restricted to 273. Abdul Waheed and Javed Khan bowled exceptionally well and shared 3 wickets each. Abdul Waheed was adjudged the Man of the Match for his stunning all-round performance.
Huraymala League (T20 semis)
Pakistan Falcons and Kohsar Cricket Club qualified for the Huraymala League final.
In first semifinal, Pakistan Falcons thumped Riyadh Warriors by 16 runs. Pakistan Falcons piled up 173. After a top order collapse, Nouman smashed a brilliant 66. Yasir hit 21 and Qasim 20. Shaikh and Ayaz grabbed 3 wickets each, while Azhar took 2 wickets. Riyadh Warriors, in reply, managed 157 runs. Waseem notched 48, Shaikh 37 and Ayaz 34. Jadoon was unplayable as he picked up 5 wickets. Hamza and Nauman claimed 2 wickets each. Nauman was declared the Man of the Match.
In the other semifinal, Kohsar registered a 4-wicket victory over Stallions. Stallions collected 166 with Zia blasting 69 and Sohail and Amir 27 each. Sohail Nawaz and Manan picked up 3 wickets each, while Qasim grabbed 2. Kohsar scored 167 for the loss of 6 wickets in 18.2 overs. Gulfam played a match-winning knock of 69. Qasim scored 26 and Saqib 21. Amir took 3 wickets. Gulfam was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Hayer League (T20 semis)
White Star will face Fast in the Huraymala League final. White Star humbled Indian Strikers by 4 wickets. Indian Strikers posted 173 for 9. Sunil smashed 59 and Ashraf 24. Asif and Naim pocketed 3 wickets each. White Star chased the target in 19.2 overs. Batting lower in the order, a pair of Asifs (scoring 60 and 43) ensured a fighting win. Shihab bagged 3 wickets. Asif was declared the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
FAST downed Green Bangla by 36 runs. FAST racked up 229 for 4. Alam Zeb (88) and Saddam (70) scored stunning fifties. Saiful Islam scalped 3 wickets. In reply, Green Bangla fumbled to 193. Zakir's epic innings of 97 went in vain. Kakon added 48. Ijaz picked up 4 wickets, while Ayaz grabbed 3. Alam Zeb was declared the Man of the Match.
Diriyah League (T20)
Insaf CC will face Kashmir XI in the Diriyah League final. Kashmir XI defeated Lahore Badshah Green by 42 runs. Kashmir XI racked up 260. Majid scored 96, Khurram 47, Arif 39 and Showkat 36. Waseem and Atif shared 2 wickets each. Lahore Badshah Green managed 218 as Mirza top scored with 55, Gohar mustered 44 and Waqas 34. Waseem, Umer, Abid, Khurram and Showkat bagged a wicket each.
Naz lost to Insaf by 4 wickets. Naz scored 223. Waqar took 4 wickets. Insaf reached the target in 19.2 overs. Wajid played a match-winning knock of 91 and Nadeem helped with 44.
