RIYADH — Pak Shaheen defeated Lahore Lions by 93 runs to win RCA Saudi Orix 40-over championship here. Saudi Orix tournament was organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Orix leasing company. Al-Kharaj League Batting first, Pak Shaheen posted 366 for the loss of 9 wickets. Abdul Waheed played a brilliant knock of 139. Faisal Khan scored 80, while Ateeq added 37 and Ibrar 28. In reply, Lahore Lions was restricted to 273. Abdul Waheed and Javed Khan bowled exceptionally well and shared 3 wickets each. Abdul Waheed was adjudged the Man of the Match for his stunning all-round performance. Huraymala League (T20 semis) Pakistan Falcons and Kohsar Cricket Club qualified for the Huraymala League final. In first semifinal, Pakistan Falcons thumped Riyadh Warriors by 16 runs. Pakistan Falcons piled up 173. After a top order collapse, Nouman smashed a brilliant 66. Yasir hit 21 and Qasim 20. Shaikh and Ayaz grabbed 3 wickets each, while Azhar took 2 wickets.
