Shoura Council President Abdullah Al-Asheikh: King Salman's first year heralded a new age shining with security and replete with remarkable achievements. The Shoura Council is determined to continue exerting efforts to keep pace with the King's vision to achieve vigorous growth and development of the nation as well as prosperity and welfare of the people.
Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Ali Al-Naimi: The Kingdom under the leadership of King Salman showed to the world that it is not only an economic power but also a political and military power in the region and the world as well. The government embarked on a national transformation strategy through diversifying sources of income, reducing dependence on oil, attracting investments to the mining sector, and easing and simplifying investment procedures.
Minister of Labor Mofrej Al-Haqbani: King Salman shows extra keenness in the development of the national workforce through making it one of the government's foremost priorities, creating sustainable job opportunities for young Saudi men and women, ensuring their social security and improving their standard of living, in addition to realizing their aspirations.
Minister of Haj Bandar Hajjar: King Salman's major concern is promoting the affairs of the Arab and Muslim Ummah, as well as to help consolidate peace and stability in all parts of the world. The King is always keen to make available of the best ever services for the millions of Haj and Umrah pilgrims by providing all the facilities to enable them perform their rituals in ease and comfort.
Minister of Commerce and Industry Tawfiq Al-Rabiah: The mega projects and ambitious programs being implemented by the government translate into action the vision of King Salman to make available of decent living and welfare for the people in the Kingdom. "The creation of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs lays the foundation stone for the National Transformation Program, which reflects the King's earnest desire to pursue vigorously with the economic reforms and confront the potential challenges facing the economy as well as to create more investment opportunities and jobs for the citizens.
