Published in The Saudi Gazette on 23 - 12 - 2015

ALISSA Universal Motors (AUM), authorized dealer of Isuzu vehicles in Riyadh and member of the Abdullatif Alissa Holding Group, has celebrated its three decade-journey of success in the Kingdom's commercial vehicle sector.
The celebration was attended by Eng. Abdul Mohsen Bin Abdullatif Alissa, Chairman of Abdullatif Alissa Holding Group; Najeeb Bin Abdullatif Alissa, Chairman of Alissa Universal Motors; the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and senior officials from Isuzu International and Isuzu Middle East.
Also in attendance were senior officials from the Mitsubishi Corporation, businessmen and senior staff specializing in the automotive industry, rally driver Sultan Hamdi, and representatives from the media. Other attendees included more than 400 VIP's including Alissa Universal Motors' clients from major companies operating in the Kingdom.
During the celebration, Najeeb Alissa honored a group from Alissa Universal Motors in recognition of their role as partners in success and their significant contribution towards the booming growth of the company.
Eng. Abdel Mohsen Bin Abdullatif Alissa expressed his gratitude to all the partners who have enriched the company's journey and contributed to its development and success during its 30 years in business – leading it to become a role model for high quality and outstanding services. He also expressed his delight at seeing the company's vision coming to life through the company's stability and balance –which has differentiated the company in the market since its founding in 1985.
He said the company's success comes from the loyalty and dedication of its employees and the support provided by the Abdullatif Alissa Holding Group, which has enabled Alissa Universal Motors to fulfill many of its goals and continually go forward to further success.
Since 1985, Isuzu automobiles have won the trust of consumers in the Saudi market, due to their high quality and strong durability. Today, the company thrives with growing sales of vehicles thanks to its constant drive to enhance its exposure and expand its share in the market. As a result of its outstanding services, it is now the first choice in the commercial transport sector, which in return has made Isuzu one of the most famous and esteemed trademarks in the Kingdom's automotive industry.
Speaking about the relationship that has brought Alissa Universal Motors and Isuzu Japan together, Najeeb Abdullatif Alissa said: "Alissa Universal Motors is very proud of its solid partnership with Isuzu Motors – one of the best and most important automotive manufacturers in Japan. From the outset, the partnership was based on a number of scientific foundations and considerations, which led to the company's vision and its strategy to meet the demands of the Saudi market."
Further, he said "over the course of 30 years, we have stayed close to Isuzu's clients, which has enabled us to make an esteemed name for our organization, thanks to the commercial vehicle sales – which dominates a fifth of the total automotive sales in the Kingdom. Our success is due to the efforts and keenness of our management and our teams, and the loyalty and trust between the company and its clients, which is recognized by Alissa Universal Motors winning numerous awards from Isuzu International for sales performance and after-sales services."
Najeeb noted: "The Kingdom's automotive market is currently more diverse and challenging, and is considered one of the most dynamic and fastest growing markets in the Kingdom. The numbers state that the yearly growth rate in this sector has exceeded 6%, and is expected to range from 9 – 10% annually. This is due to the Saudi economy's stability and steady growth. Expectations also point to an increase in automotive sales to almost 100 billion Riyals within the next five years."
Alissa Universal Motors is one of the most important companies in the Abdullatif Alissa Holding Group, with over 60 years of experience in the automotive industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Alissa Universal Motors has been the authorized dealer for Isuzu Motors in Riyadh since 1985 and provides commercial transport solutions of outstanding excellence.
