JEDDAH – For many Saudis Puma brand is the number one choice when it comes to buying sportswear and footwear, yet Puma did not have an exclusive store which sells the brand collection alone.
On Dec. 17, the first Puma store was officially opened for Puma's lover in Jeddah. The store is located in La Terra Center, next to Ruby Tuesday Restaurant in Prince Sultan Street.
Many social media and people working in the fashion field have attended the opening such as Hamza Iskandar and Hala Al Harthy. The Saudi Hip hop singer and Rapper Qusai Kheder was also one of the opening attendees.
Puma store has males, females, and kids sections. The collection showcases in the store is the 2015 collection. There are many pieces that grabbed the attention of visitors in the opening. For example, in the women section, there is a big colorful red bag as well as some fashionable workout clothes. There is a small corner in the female section that is concentrating on only red, black, and purple sportswear.
Within a month, the new collection of 2016 will arrive to Jeddah's store.
According to Project Coordinator Yousef Abdellatif Banaja and Partners Company (YAB), and the responsible person of Puma in the Kingdom, Reem Banaja, more stores will be opened in Saudi Arabia soon.
"This is our first branch and within two to three months, we will open our second branch in Jeddah, and within a year we will open a branch in Riyadh and the Eastern Province," Banaja said.
The store collection would be unique since there will be an exclusive sportswear, footwear, and sport products in the store.
She explained that collections and products in the store are very different from other stores that are selling Puma because the store will be more focused on women, men, and children's collections. She added that the store has a specifically running and lifestyle collection and products that will fit everyone.
