Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman issued 12 royal orders Friday night relieving some officials and appointing others, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. Minister of Education Dr. Azzam Muhammad Al-Dakheel was relieved from his post at his request. The same royal order appointed Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Ahmed Al-Isa as the new minister of education. Dr. Saleh Abdulrahman Saad Al-Shehaib, deputy minister of civil service, was relieved from his post at his request, according to another royal order. The same royal order appointed Abdullah Ali Muhammad Malfi as deputy minister of civil service in the excellent grade. Dr. Tawfiq Abdulaziz Al-Sudairi was appointed deputy minister of Islamic Affairs, endowments, call and guidance for mosques, call and guidance affairs in the excellent grade in a royal order, while another royal order relieved Dr. Ali Nasser Ali Al-Ghafees, governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), from his post and appointed Dr. Ahmed Fahd Ibrahim Al-Fehaid as governor of TVTC in the excellent grade. Another royal order appointed Dr. Abdulaziz Salim Muhammad Al-Ruwais as governor of the Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC) in the excellent grade. The sixth royal order relieved Muhammad Khaled Muhammad Al-Suwaikit from his post as general president of the Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) in the excellent grade and appointed Dr. Rumaih Muhammad Al-Rumaih in his place, in the excellent grade. Another royal order appointed Dr. Ali Nasser Al-Ghafees, Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Darrab and Dr. Saleh Abdulrahman Al-Shehaib as members of the Shoura Council for the remaining period of the Council's current session. The eighth royal order appointed Dr. Jamaan Rasheed Abdulmajeed Bin Ragoosh as President of the Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in the excellent grade. Another royal order appointed Fahd Muhammad Abdullah Bin Hidayyan as Adviser No. 8 in the excellent grade in the Ministry of Interior, while the tenth royal order appointed Muhammad Abdullah Saleh Al-Ameel as secretary general for the General Committee for the Council of Ministers in the excellent grade.
