The Cleveland Cavaliers are off to their best NBA start in 39 years after coming from behind Friday night to beat the New York Knicks for the second time in just nine days. LeBron James and Mo Williams ignited the fourth quarter rally, combining for 21 of Cleveland's 24 fourth quarter points in a 90-84 victory at Madison Square Garden. The Cavaliers won their eighth straight, a stretch that includes a 96-86 home win on Nov. 4 after coming back from a 15 point deficit against the same Knicks. James also had a spectacular fourth quarter in that one, and Cleveland is now 8-1 to start the year for the first time since the 1976-77 NBA season. The same can't be said for Knicks' forward Carmelo Anthony who had a team high 26 points but only scored four in the second half. Coming into the contest, Anthony was shooting 31.7 percent in the fourth quarter compared to 51.2 percent for James. James finished with 31 points and Williams scored 20. Forward Kristaps Porzingis finished with 11 points and seven rebounds for the Knicks. Magic 102, Jazz 93: Evan Fournier scored 21 points and Tobias Harris added 19 points and 13 rebounds as the Orlando Magic cruised to a 102-93 win over the Utah Jazz. Center Nikola Vucevic added 16 points and nine rebounds and point guard Elfrid Payton had 16 points and six assists for the Magic. Forward Gordon Hayward and guard Trey Burke led Utah with 16 points apiece. Guard Alec Burks was the only other Jazz player in double figures with 11. Pacers 107, Timberwolves 103: Forward Paul George continued his strong form with 29 points and guard Monta Ellis added 24 as the Indiana Pacers built a big lead but had to hang on to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves. Ian Mahinmi had 12 points and nine rebounds while Glenn Robinson III scored a career-high 11 off the bench against his former team as Indiana won for the sixth time in seven games after starting the season 0-3. Raptors 100, Pelicans 81: Point guard Kyle Lowry and center Jonas Valanciunas each scored 20 points to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 100-81 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. Valanciunas also pulled in 10 rebounds for the Raptors, who dominated the second half by scoring 60 points to the Pelican's 41. Guard Eric Gordon led the Pelicans with a season-best 30 points, including 16 in the first quarter. Celtics 106, Hawks 93: Guard Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics with a game-high 23 points, 10 assists and five rebounds as Boston scored their best win of the season by downing the Atlanta Hawks 106-93. Forward Amir Johnson had 19 points, eight boards and four assists, while Kelly Olynyk came off the bench with 15 points. Jared Sullinger had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Thunder 102, 76ers 85: The Oklahoma City Thunder pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 102-85 victory over Philadelphia, with point guard Russell Westbrook producing his second triple-double of the season with 21 points, a career-high 17 rebounds and 11 assists. Philadelphia (0-9) had jumped out to a 24-18 lead after the first quarter as forwards Nerlens Noel and Christian Wood each scored six points. The Thunder grabbed the lead for good midway through the second quarter with an 8-0 run.
