Trailing 2-1 in the second period, the Capitals (11-4-0) scored three goals — two from Jason Chimera — to seize control and secure their fifth win in the last seven games. Senators 3, Canucks 2 Goaltender Andrew Hammond made 33 saves as the Ottawa Senators snapped out of a two-game losing streak by beating the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 at Canadian Tire Centre. Erik Karlsson led the Senators with a goal and an assist, while Bobby Ryan and Chris Wideman had the other Ottawa goals. Sven Baertschi and Alex Edler scored for the Canucks.
