World Diabetes Day marked

Society of Friends of Diabetics marked the World Day of Diabetes in Jeddah on Sunday with a special function at King Fahd Medical Research Center. During the event awareness books and pamphlets on the disease were circulated. Dr. Turaif Al-Zawawi, the society's chairman, and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen attended the function.
