Egyptian signer Mohammad Foad announced that he intends on refraining from holding live performances outside of Egypt for the time being and until Egypt is able to stand up on its own two feet once more. Mohammad called on all singers to keep their topics for songs related to the revolution, which overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak. According to the internet website MBC.net, Mohammad expressed his despair regarding the recent events, which led to the death of eight people, that occurred in front of the Egyptian Prime Ministry after the second round of parliamentary elections ended and were considered a step forward towards democracy. Mohammad revealed that he had turned down numerous offers to hold concerts outside of Egypt, stressing that in the meantime he wants to minimize his concerts to be held in Egypt until conditions are more stable. __
