JEDDAH — Newcastle Sports Club will take on Youth India FC in the inaugural match of the 18th SIFF-Rabea Champions League 2015 at 9:00 p.m. at the Hilal Sham Stadium near Khalid Bin Waleed Street here Friday. The league championship is mainly sponsored by Rabea Tea and it is organized by Saudi Indian Football Forum (SIFF). The second match of the day is between United Sports Club A vs. Blasters Combined FC at 10.05 p.m. The fixtures for the four divisions of this four-month-long Jeddah football festival were drawn at a function here recently. Chief guest Vijayaraghavan, former Member of Parliament from southern Indian State of Kerala, picked the first lot, which was followed by Jeddah National Hospital Chairman V.P. Mohammed Ali, T.P. Shuhaib and Usman Pandikkad. The evening draw ceremony was made memorable and melodious by Idea Star fame Shabbir Ali, Jeddah's popular singers Masood Thangal, Kareem Mavoor, Jamal Pasha and Mirza Sherif. SIFF General Secretary Naser Santhapuram, welcomed the gathering and Hifsu Rahman made the presidential address.
